Tours of Brooklyn, New York
Welcome to Tours of Brooklyn NY, the most beautiful City in America. The only other City that I feel comes up to par with the City of Brooklyn New York is the City of San Francisco, California. Brooklyn has natural beauty. We're surrounded by water on 3 sides, we have some of our own cultural landmarks, and some of the most beautiful architecture in America. When thinking about Brooklyn, it is important to be in the mindset that Brooklyn New York is it's own city, and not "part" of a city. The reason for this is Brooklyn was built as a city, and remained a city til 1898, when it became part of New York City (big mistake!!) When Brooklyn stands alone, the only other cities in the country which are greater in size are Chicago and Los Angeles. What became the City of Brooklyn N.Y. was originally the 6 Villages of Kings County, which were: Brooklyn, Bushwick, Flatlands, Flatbush, New Utrecht and Gravesend. Each was built as an independent village with their own street names,  which is why Brooklyn can be a difficult place to navigate around. ASK ANY NYC CABBIE!!
But That Is Also Brooklyn's Charm....
Brooklyn neighborhoods roll one into the next into the next and into the next. One minute you're in a distinctly Italian neighborhood, 2 minutes later you're in a Polish neighborhood, and a minute after that an Old World Hasidic Jewish Community. Getting around Brooklyn is very different than getting around Manhattan. You can "just go to" Manhattan. You can't just go to Brooklyn. Manhattan you basically travel uptown and downtown, eastside-westside. Not Brooklyn. You need to know where you are going.
                                                            That's where we come in!!
We know where we're going!! Born and raised in the greatest City in the world, we know this town inside out. What's worth seeing, what's not, and how to get around. We know all the great places to eat. Best italian food in New York, best Kosher food. Best drinking bars. Great walk around neighborhoods like Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights. Hipster neighborhoods like Williamsburg. Let us show you around the greatest City in America. We are open year round and give tours 7 days a week.
Brooklyn, the sugar coating on the Big Apple!!
